Acoustic range of Johnson guitars deals with wood-made steel strings, as well as resonators. Songwriter II series is a line of affordable guitars with solid tops and vintage-styled aesthetics. JD-06 is the series opener. It is a non-cutaway dreadnought with fully acoustic construction and body made of laminated mahogany back and sides with solid spruce sound board on top. creme binding, tortoise shell pickguard and single circle rosette are accompanied with gloss finish and hardware painted in black. Bridge section for this models features a classic rosewood-made belly bridge. 20-fret fingerboard with dot inlays is also made of rosewood. Set-in neck is made of mahogany and the scale measures 25-1/4".
