JG-610 belongs to the beginner-level Player series made by Johnson Guitars. Player series concentrates around affordable and simple models with basic specs and features. This particular model is a non-cutaway dreadnought with full-length scale, which measures 25-1/2" and full-sized body, which is made of laminated mahogany back and sides with laminated spruce sound board on top. This steel-stringed dread is available in two color options, natural and blue. Both are finished in high gloss. Black binding, black plastic pickguard and triple circle rosette decorate the top panel of this six-stringer. Mahogany neck on this model is made with special care for improved intonation and playability. It is topped with a standard 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Belly-contoured bridge is also made of rosewood.
