Player series is a line of beginner-level acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars made by Johnson Guitars. It mostly offers dreadnought-shaped guitars in both non-cutaway and single cut variants. Whitewood and spruce are predominant materials for the body construction in this series. Mostly, they are laminated, though JG-620 has a solid top. JG-624-CE is a single cut dreadnought with Fishman electronics installed within the body cavity. Whitewood back and sides are matched with spruce sound board on top. Redburst is the only color option available for this one and it`s finished in high gloss. Black binding, black pickguard and triple circle rosette are featured on the top. Mahogany neck is equipped with optimal angle and standard back contour. It`s topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
