The X series is an effort to offer affordable instruments with Martin`s tone and quality. 00CXAE Black is a concert cutaway model with a body made entirely of high pressure laminated wood. It comes in black color with glossy finish and no binding. The bridge on this model is made of black richlite with black pins and black plastic saddle. Fishman Presys preamp with tuner and on-board controls is in charge of the amplification for this model. The neck i made of natural stratabond with an oval shape and mortise and tenon joint. Black richlite fingerboard has 20 frets, dot inlays and 1.6875" wide corian nut. The list price for this model is set at $899.
