D-16 Adirondack is a part of Martin`s 16 series and it comes with a non-cutaway body made of mahogany back and sides with a spruce top. The top on this model is it`s most prominent feature, as it is made of Adirondack spruce, an option which is rare and reserved for upscale models within a brand`s catalog. This top is bound in tortoise binding and equipped with a plastic pickguard. Sound hole on D-16 Adirondack is encircled with a delicate rosette design. The bridge is made of ebony, and it comes with a standard belly shape. Neck on this model is made of hardwood and it comes with a V contour. It is topped with an ebony fingerboard. Fingerboard features: 20 frets, dot position inlays and 1.75" wide corian nut.
