D-16 GT is a model from Martin`s very successful 16 series of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. It comes with dreadnought shaped body with non-cutaway design. Mortise & tenon neck joint is featured on this body. Back and sides are made of mahogany, while the top is made of spruce. Black binding surrounds the top which is finished in elegant gloss lacquer. Teardrop-shaped pickguard and triple circle rosette complete the top panel. Bridge on this model is made of black richlite. There are no electronics featured on this dreadnought. Neck is made of hardwood, which is Martin`s standard wood. It is attached tot the body with a dovetail joint and covered with black richlite fingerboard. It featured 20 frets with dot inlays 1.6875" corian nut. Chrome hardware and 25-1/2" scale wrap the list of features.
