DC-Aura blongs to the Special Editions series of the Martin Guitars catalog. This series deals with all the "misfits" of this legendary brand, all models which can not be fit into a standard series are moved here. It is the most diverse bunch of the catalog, by far. DC Aura is a single-cut dreadnought guitar with Fishman`s Aura system with on-board tuner. Body of this acoustic-electric dreadnought is made of rosewood back and side panels with spruce sound board on top. Abalone binding, black pickguard and abalone rosette decorate the top of this luxurious dread. Standard belly-contoured bridge is made of ebony and it sports a bone saddle. On the other side of the 25-1/2" scale, a bone nut is installed. It`s installed upon the 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
