Performing Artist series, as it`s name says is oriented towards the gigging players and guitarists who want a solid, well crafted acoustic-electric guitar. DCPA 4 is a dreadnought cutaway model with a body made of solid spruce top and sapele back and sides. It is available in natural gloss finish with black binding and a teardrop shaped tortoise shell pickguard. The bridge is made of black richlite and has white pins with white TUSQ saddle. Electronics consist of Fishman F1 analog preamp with on-board controls. The neck is made of selected hardwood with an artist style contour and mortise and tenon joint. The black richlite fingerboard has 20 frets, side dot inlays, 1.75" wide corian nut and 15" radius. The list price for this model is set at $1,599.
