LXM Tres is a non-cutaway concert model from Martin`s X Series. It is a line of guitars made of laminated tonewoods with a mortise and tenon joint to lower the costs as much as possible and make for affordable instruments. LXM Tres starts off with a body made of laminated spruce top and laminated mahogany back and sides. It is available in natural gloss finish with no binding and no pickguards. The bridge is made of rosewood, has a belly shape and white pins. The neck is made of rust stratabond and features a mortise and tenon joint at the 14th fret. This 23" scale model has a morado fingerboard with 20 frets, no inlays and 1.25" wide corian nut. The List price ofr this model is set at $499.
