EA80C has been overhauled for the 2012 season and it now features blackwood back and side panels with scalloped spruce top. The back panel is now radiused for better response and tonal range. Top panel is bound in combination of herringbone and blackwood. Also, there is a tortoise shell pickguard installed on the top. Bridge section is equipped, as of this year, with desert acacia (mulga) bridge with regular belly shape. Electronics are simple, yet effective, they include AP5 pickup and it`s belonging preamp. Natural is the only color option and it is finished in UV gloss. Neck on this model is now made of solid blackwood and it is topped with mulga fingerboard, to match the bridge. 21 frets are covered with dot position markers. golden Grover tuners wrap the specs list.
