Elite T offers a range of high quality instruments and has a special place within the Ovation catalog. 2078TX-5 is an acoustic-electric model with a single cutaway dreadnought shaped body. It is made of composite back and sides with a spruce top. 2078TX-5 is available only in black color with gloss finish and black Ovation tuners. The bridge on this model comes with a standard shape and it`s made of rosewood. For the amplification tasks, Ovation install their own thinline pickup in combination with OP-Pro preamp, which is also their own product. The neck is made of maple and it comes with a V contour. This set neck features a rosewood fingerboard with a set of 22 frets. There are no position inlays, and the string nut is made of synthetic bone.
