Back and sides on it`s body are made of composite materials, which is Ovation`s standard for decades. Top is made of spruce. This black bass is finished in gloss lacquer. The bridge is made of walnut and it comes with black painted belly shape. Electronics department on this Ovation is made up of Op-Pro pickup and a side-mounted preamp, also made by Ovation. Neck is made of maple and it comes with a V contour. This set-in neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 20 frets are covered with no inlays and the synthetic bone nut is 1-9/16 inches wide.
