Ovation`s Celebrity range is divided into two main branches - Elite and Standard. The two branches are further divided into regular (Celebrity Elite/Celebrity Standard) and "Plus" (Celebrity Elite Plus/Celebrity Standard Plus) sections. The Plus models in both branches are distinguished from the regulars by fancy tops and decorations. Celebrity Standard Super Shallow CS28-NEB comes in with a regular Lyrachord single-cut body (w/conventional central soundhole & 20 frets), 14th ret neck joint, 25-1/4" scale, high-quality hardware, and Ovation electronics. New England Burst is the name of the only available color option. Other notable features include a super shallow composite bowl, solid spruce soundboard, nato neck, 20-fret fingerboard made of CITES certified ovangkol, ovangkol bridge, OP-4BT preamp w/Slimline pickup, and die-cast tuners.
