Melissa Etheridge is one of the very few women who have their own signature guitar (or bass) series with one of the major companies. Ms. Etheridge`s line currently consists of only one model - Melissa Etheridge Signature Deep Contour 2078ME-6P, which is an Elite Plus class six-stringer. The 2078ME-6P comes in with a Lyrachord style body w/deep composite bowl, deep cutaway (fingerboard`s almost fully accessible), 25-1/4" scale, (Ovation`s six-string standard), and in-house electronics. Pearl White (w/gloss finish, black hardware, black headstock, ivory abalone binding) is the only available color option. Ovation`s official site reveals no info on the price. Other notable features include a 5-piece mahogany neck, 22-fret ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge, and die-cast tuners.
