PW520 is a part of the intermediately priced 5 series and is the series grand concert model. It`s position in the Parkwood catalog is right above the PW320M, as it is the 3 series GC guitar. As all other 5 series models do, 520 discards the mahogany/spruce combo of body woods seen in the starter 3 series and, instead, adopts the more exclusive rosewood/spruce combo. Rosewood gives a huge, majestic tone with stunning projection and spruce gives it a bit sharper edge. Sound board is equipped with ivory binding, belly-contoured rosewood bridge and a simple rosette. Neck on this model is made of solid mahogany with the series standard contour. Fingerboard on it`s top is made of rosewood and has 20 frets. Grover tuners wrap the specs list.
