WS1000 belongs to the Classic series from Rainsong catalog. This series contains models Rainsong started with many years ago. These were the first all-composite material acoustics on the market. Ovation made composite bowl guitars before Rainsong, but Rainsong models were the first to feature entire bodies made of carbon fibers, glass fibers and composite materials. WS1000 is a grand auditorium guitar with single cut body with acoustic-electric construction. Series standard electronics are installed on this model, as well. Body is made of carbon fibers with gloss finish over it. Body is paired with a graphite neck through a bolt-on joint set at the 14th fret. U-shaped neck is topped with a composite fingerboard with 20 frets. Bridge section features a belly-contoured bridge also made of composite materials.
