Dreadnought is the predominant body contour for the coastline series and it is also chosen for this model, the Cedar S12 QI. IT is a twelve-stringed acoustic-electric guitar with Godin electronics. QI system installed on this model includes an under-saddle piezo pickup paired with a side-mounted preamp. Body of this exceptional twelve-stringer is made of series` standard materials, wild cherry for the back and side panels and solid cedar on the top. High gloss over natural color is used for the top and semi-gloss over dark stain for the back and sides. This body is paired with one of the most comfortable necks in this model`s price category. It is made of a single piece of maple and it comes with a standard slim contour. Bridge and 21-fret fingerboard are made of rosewood.
