Maritime series is one of the most important installments in Seagull catalog, as it offers high quality acoustics and acoustic-electrics for a reasonable price and represents strong alternative on the market full of American and Japanese manufacturer. Seagull is from Canada and it is a subsidiary to Godin Guitars, docused only on acoustic line of guitars. Maritime is labeled with SWS, which means Solid Wood Series. High Gloss QI is a non-cutaway dreadnought guitar with an under-saddle piezo pickup in combination with side-mounted piezo preamp. Natural color of the wood on the top is contrasted with dark stain on the sides and in the back. Entire body is finished in high gloss. Neck on this model is made of a single piece of mahogany and it is topped with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard.
