Takamine`s Specialty Shop is a series within a series. It belongs to the Pro Series section of the catalog, but is actually a series on it`s own. It features top models from Takamine workshops. EF451DLX is NEX shaped model with non-cutaway construction. Back and sides of this guitar are made of rosewood, while the top panel is made of spruce. Glossy black body and neck are decorated with creeping vine inlays and ivoroid binding. Top panel also features a pickguard with the same motives painted on, as on the fingerboard. Bridge on this model is made of ebony. Electronics department on EF451DLX is equipped with TLD line driver preamp. Fingerboard is made of ebony and it comes with a set of 20 frets, creeping vine inlays and 1.65" wide string nut.
