G340SC is a model situated within the Takamine`s G Dreadnought series, and it comes with a single cutaway variant of this perennial shape. Body back and side panels are made of mahogany, while the top is made of spruce. Top is bound in abalone and equipped with a black plastic, vintage-styled pickguard. Sound hole is equipped with an abalone rosette. This single-circle decoration is made to match the binding. Bridge features include: rosewood, belly shape construction and plastic string saddle. G340SC features no electronics on, or within the body. The neck is attached to the body with a dovetail joint set at the 14th fret. Fingerboard is made of rosewood and it is equipped with 20 frets, small white dot position inlays and 1.675" wide string nut.
