G406S-VS is a classic New Yorker styled acoustic guitar novelty for Takamine 2012 issue of catalog.This model is fully acoustic and features no pickups, mics or preamps. This 406 is one of seven brand new G series models this year, and it is the only non-electric. G406S-VS starts off with a non-cutaway FXC shaped body made of rosewood & quilted maple back and sides and solid spruce top. This model also features aesthetic enhancements in shape of abalone top binding and abalone inlays. Vintage sunburst is the only color assigned to this New Yorker, and it fits perfectly. The bridge is made of rosewood and has a belly shape, black string pins and white plastic saddle. The fingerboard on this model is made of rosewood and features an acoustic standard of 20 frets. The position inlays are abalone dots. Gloss finish and chrome plated hardware wrap the specs. The MSRP for G406S-VS is set at $599.
