Takamine`s own NEX body is, in fact, a down-sized jumbo. The overall shape was retained, but NEX six-strings come a bit shallower. As Takamine claims on their site, this is the perfect guitar to accompany the vocals. GN51 is a fully acoustic NEX guitar with non-cutaway design. It is available in Brown Sunburst and Natural, with gloss finish, gold-plated hardware and black/white plastics. Back and sides of all G50 models, including this one, are made of rosewood. They`re covered with solid spruce sound boards. Slim mahogany neck is attached at the 14th fret and features a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Rosewood bridge and gold-plated tuners wrap the list of major features. GN51 delivers a warm and well balanced tone, Takamine`s renowned build quality and exceptional playability.
