214 is an upgraded variant of the 214 model, it features the Taylor Expression system installed within the body cavity. This acoustic-electric guitar is a grand auditorium with non-cutaway design and dovetail neck joint construction. Color palette for this model is restricted to natural with a combination of gloss and satin finishes. Hardware installed on this one is plated in chrome and it includes a set of Taylor`s own die-cast tuners. Body is made of rosewood back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Top panel is bound in black binding and equipped with tortoise shell pickguard. Bridge is made of ebony. Neck is a standard one, it`s made of mahogany and topped with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard. 25-1/2" scale wraps up the specs list.
