300 Series Acoustic-Electric Guitars by Taylor
Taylor`s acoustic-electric section of the catalog consists of nine main series and several minor ones. The main lines are numbered 100-900. 100 and 200 represent the introductory lines for beginners and players with budget struggles. 300-600 is the intermediate range, where Taylor introduces solid tonewoods, elegant decorations and top notch quality control. 700, 800 and 900 are the exclusive section of the range, where 800 and 900 are in a league of their own. These series are based on single-cut guitars and have Taylor Expression electronics. For summer of 2013, Taylor is introducing eight fully acoustic guitars with non-cutaway bodies. Five of them belong to the 500 series, while three novelties are assigned to the 300 line. 320 dreadnought, 322 grand concert and 324 grand auditorium can also be ordered with single-cut bodies and Expression system. 322 is a grand concert guitar made of sapele back and sides with mahogany top. Black binding, triple circle rosette and triple-circle rosette decorate the top. Ebony bridge is fit with a TUSQ nut and matched with an ebony fingerboard with 20 frets and a 1.75" wide TUSQ nut. Neck is made of mahogany and it`s attached to the body at the steel-string standard 14th fret. Taylor tuners and 24-7/8" scale complete the specs list.
