300 Series Acoustic-Electric Guitars by Taylor
300 series is where Taylor`s main acoustic line goes all-solid, leaving the laminated tonewoods behind. There are two standard tonewood combinations within the 300 lineup - sapele/spruce and blackwood/mahogany. The most affordable models start at $1,499, though the price tags can go way up over the $2,000 mark. 324ce is one of the more expensive 300 series options. It comes in with an amplified GA body, 14th fret neck joint, Taylor electronics, and Taylor hardware. The MSRP is set at $1,999. Major features include Tasmanian blackwood/tropical Mahogany body (all-solid construction, black pickguard, black binding), a mahogany neck, a 20-fret African ebony fingerboard (1.6875" Tusq nut, 25.5" scale, diamond inlays), an ebony bridge (Taylor shape), ES-2 electronics, and Taylor tuners.
