In 400 series, grand concert is named 412ce and it is equipped with single cutaway and Taylor`s Expression system. Ovangkol is another name for the African rosewood, which is very popular and much used wood in the industry. In 400 series, Taylor utilizes ovangkol for back and side panels and matches them with spruce tops. Mahogany neck on this model features standard back contour and a dovetail joint. Ebony is the material of choice for the bridge and 20-fret fingerboard.
