Taylor`s main acoustic-electric line is made up of nine major series, named 100 to 900. 100 is, logically, the most affordable one (its models start around $700) and 900 is the most expensive one (starting point for 900s is set at $4,899). With custom options and alternatives, 900s (as well as 800 series models) can easily reach above $10,000. 912e 12-Fret is one of two active 12-Fret 900s. It comes in with a grand concert body (Indian rosewood back/sides, Sitka spruce top, ebony binding, abalone/paua rosette), a tropical mahogany neck (Taylor profile, satin finish, 12th fret joint), an ebony fingerboard (big Nouveau inlay across the length of the board, 1.75" bone nut, 24.875" scale), an ebony bridge, ES 2 electronics, and Gotoh tuners.
