DMSM is a signature model made by Taylor for Dave Matthews. This model comes with non-cutaway grand auditorium body shape. It is available in natural color option with high gloss finish. This color scheme is complemented with gold-plated hardware and rich abalone binding. Electronics installed on this guitar include Taylor`s own Expression System, the steel string variant of this advanced amplification system. Tuning machines installed on the headstock are provided by Gotoh, instead of standard Taylors. Body of this grand auditorium guitar is made of rosewood back and sides, with a spruce-made sound board. bridge on this model comes with standard shape and it is made of ebony. Neck is made of mahogany and is ti topped with an ebony fingerboard with 20 frets and custom Dave Matthews inlays.
