Presentation series is a part of the brand new Limited Edition made by Taylor GUitars for season of Fall 2012. It contains two models in it`s lineup, PS14ce-FLTD, which is a grand auditorium and PS16ce-FLTD, which is a grand symphony. It is the smallest of three series in this Limited Edition. PS16ce-FLTD comes with a single cut grand symphony body made of macassar ebony back and sides with Sinker redwood sound board on top. Macassar ebony is a wood similar to Brazilian rosewood in tone and grain and Redwood reminds of cedar, so the combo brings fantastic tonal properties to the exclusive Presentation series. Top panel is equipped with ebony binding and contoured armrest. Single circle rosette is made of paua. There is no pickguard on this gloss-finished sound board. Bridge section on this model is equipped with a standard Taylor ebony bridge. It features bone saddle and ebony string pins with abalone dots. Electronics department is traditionally equipped with Expression system pickup and preamp. Neck is made of tropical mahogany and it features 14th fret dovetail joint with scarf headstock joint. Finished in satin and topped with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard. Fingerboard features Nouveau inlay across the frets and 1.75" wide bone nut. This model is equipped with gold-plated Gotoh tuners and 25-1/2" scale. The MSRP is set at $7,998.
