Steven Curtis Chapman is a long-time member of Taylor Guitars signature family and his series currently consists of one model, Taylor SCC. This guitar is acoustic-electric grand auditorium with non-cutaway design and dovetail neck joint construction. Tobacco Sunburst is the only color option assigned to this model and it is finished in high gloss. Taylor complemented this color scheme with rich binding and gold-plated hardware. Scale on this model is 25-1/2" long and tuning machines installed on the headstock are made by Taylor. Expression System electronics are also made by Taylor. Body is made of rosewood back and sides and covered with a spruce top. Bridge on this model is made of ebony and it is matched with ebony fingerboard which is installed on top of the mahogany neck.
