Walden Guitars is a very successful acoustic guitar brand from China. Their catalog is split into two sections, the steel stringed guitars and nylon guitars are their names. For 2013 Walden has prepared a brand new series of guitars, which steps out of the boundaries previously associated with this brand. Bold and brave move into the acoustic baritone area is made with the B-1 series. Currently, the series contains two models, the B-1 acoustic and B-1E acoustic-electric guitar. More models are expected soon. B-1 comes with a non-cutaway grand auditorium body made of rosewood back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Top panel is bound in black and finished in satin. The rest of the body and the neck are also finished in satin. The only color scheme is the natural one. Bridge section on this model is equipped with a standard faceted rosewood bridge. Black string pins are featured on this bridge. There are no electronics installed on this model, it is fully acoustic. One of the most interesting features of this model is it`s offset sound hole. Neck is made of mahogany and it`s topped with a standard 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Strings are tuned to B, E, A, D, F#, B.
