New winds are blowing, and the industry is changing it`s course towards responsible wood consumption and sustainable resources. Walden is one of the first brands to embrace the new philosophy, they dedicated their Madera series to it. Madera consists currently of four models, two dreadnoughts and two grand auditoriums, with CG4070E being a non-cutaway grand auditorium. It`s body is made of solid FSC certified mahogany and also solid FSC certified western red cedar. CG4070E comes in natural and tobacco sunburst colors with gloss finish. Katalox bridge is equipped with wooden string pins and bone saddle. Walden`s standard neck material, mahogany, is used for this model, as well, and it`s topped with a katalox fingerboard. 20 frets, no position inlays and 1-3/4" wide bone nut wrap the fingerboard. Optional MiSi EQ can be installed on all Madera models.
