Washburn`s Comfort series is all about ease of play, and this attitude is embodied in every guitar from this series. They all feature contoured back panels for improved ergonomics. WCD 18CE is a dreadnought-shaped variant of this concept and it comes with single cutaway construction. Back and side panels are made of mahogany and the top is made of spruce. Multi-ply binding and triple sound hole rosette decorate the glossy top. Bridge section features a belly shaped bridge made of rosewood. Electronics department is made of Fishman`s Isys+ pickup and preamp system with side-mounted preamp. Neck is made of mahogany and it sports a dovetail joint. This neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 21 frets, dot position inlays and bone string nut complete the fingerboard.
