WD 015S is a model from Washburn`s Woodline series. The main trait of this line is the ultra thin satin layer of finish, for Washburn aimed for the ultimate tone projection with these models. Therefore, pickguards are scrapped from the list of specs. WD 015S is a dreadnought guitar with non-cutaway construction. It`s back and sides are made of mahogany and the top is made of spruce. Top is bound in natural binding and decorated with a triple circle rosette around the center-positioned sound hole. Bridge on this model is made of rosewood and it comes with a standard Washburn shape. The neck is made of mahogany and it is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 20 frets, dot position inlays and bone string nut wrap the fingerboard.
