WD55SCE is a model from the Deluxe Koa division of the WD series made by Washburn Guitars. Washburn is brand with more than one hundred years of experience and tremendous reputation among the manufacturers of acoustic guitars. It`s WD series is the most populous one, as it contains numerous sub-divisions and a vast range of dreadnoughts, jumbos and others. WD55SCE is an acoustic-electric dreadnought with single cutaway design. Koa is used for back and sides, while the top is made of spruce. Abalone binding and rosette decorate the top and the bridge is made of rosewood. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it comes with a dovetail joint set at the steel-stringer`s standard 14th fret. Rosewood-made fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets and dot position inlays.
