Yamaha`s acoustics are considered by many to be among the finest out there. The FG720S-12 is an FG series twelve-stringed dreadnought acoustic. It kicks off with a non-cutaway body made of rosewood back and sides with a spruce top. The top is flat, bound in several layers of binding and equipped with a plastic black pickguard. In the bridge section, Yamaha installs a rosewood bridge with a set of twelve black string pins. This FG is fully acoustic, and it features no pickups or preamps. The neck is made of nato wood and it features a set-in joint. The fingerboard is made of resinator, and it comes with 20 frets, dot position inlays and 1-21/32" wide string nut. Die cast tuners with chrome plating complete the specs.

For its price this guitar sings!! My Alvarez Yairi 12 has a better tone but the body is too big for me. If I needed a smaller one I would buy this in a heartbeat. It just rings and sings-beautiful tone.
