LJ36 comes from the LJ series in Yamaha`s acoustic section of the catalog. The LJ series features vintage-styled acoustics which are primarily aimed at US market. LJ36 is a jumbo-shaped model with single cutaway design. Construction-wise, it is also equipped with dovetail neck joint. Back and sides are made of rosewood, while the top is made of spruce. Top features maple binding and high gloss finish. Black plastic pickguard and multiple-circle vintage-styled rosette complete the top. Bridge section features a belly-shaped ebony bridge with slanted saddle. Neck on this model is made of five pieces of rosewood and it is topped with ebony fingerboard. 20 frets, snowflake inlays and 1.75" wide synthetic bone nut complete the fingerboard. Golden die-cast tuners and 25-5/8" scale wrap the specs list.
