Yamaha`s LS series offers vintage-styled guitars primarily aimed at players who are willing and able to pay substantial amount of money for a high quality guitar, though the entry models are found in reasonably priced area of the market. LS36 is a flagship of the series, and it costs around $2,500. It is a vintage-styled guitar with a non-cutaway design. It`s body is made of rosewood back and sides and spruce sound board. Top panel is bound in abalone and equipped with a plastic pickguard. Also, the sound hole sports a triple circle rosette. Belly shaped bridge is made of ebony. Five-piece mahogany neck is equipped with a dovetail joint and topped with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard. Die-cast tuners, 25-5/8" scale and 1.75" synthetic bone nut complete the specs list.
