Yamaha is known for having a very versatile catalog, and one of their specialties is the blend of classical nylon-stringed guitars with acoustic-electric concept. NCX900 is the entry model of the series and it comes with a concert body shape with a single cutaway construction. Back and sides on this model are made of maple and the top is made of spruce. The spruce top is bound in several layers of binding and decorated with an elegant rosette around the sound hole. The bridge is made of ebony, and it sports a modified classic shape. System 61 preamp is combined with an under-saddle piezo pickup. The neck is made of nato wood and it`s topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 19 frets, no inlays and 2.08" wide string nut complete the fingerboard specs.
