AC-300 is the top model of the Concert Guitars series made by Aria. These models are made in Spain and were developed by Shiro Arai, himself. Main trait of the series is the solid sound board in contrast to the laminated back and sides. Thus, the tone is strong, but also vivid and crisp. AC-300 comes made of rosewood, spruce, ebony and mahogany. Rosewood is used only for back and side panels of the body, while the spruce sits on top as the sound board. Ebony is used for the standard bridge and 19-fret fingerboard. Throughout the acoustic guitar world, it is customary to match the tonewoods of bridge and fingerboard. Neck is the only part made of mahogany. It comes attached to the body with a dovetail joint. Hardware is plated in gold.
