Aria is one of the major manufacturers of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. Together with to Ibanez, Yamaha, and Takamine, it forms the Japanese big four of acoustic guitar market. The core of Aria`s acoustic range is made up of three series - 100, 200, and 500. Aria-231, quite obviously, belongs to the 200 series; it is series` only parlor model. It starts with a non-cutaway body, glued-in neck (14th fret dovetail joint), chrome hardware, and vintage styling. Natural and Tobacco Sunburst are the only available color options. Main construction features include mahogany back & sides, solid spruce top (two-piece top, vintage rosette), mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard (1.69" TUSQ nut, dot inlays). Other notable features include a fixed rosewood bridge and die-cast tuning machines.
