Aria 501 belongs to the intermediate 500 series. It rocks a non-cutaway OM body with a deep contour and dovetail neck joint. Solid Indonesian mahogany is used for back and sides, while the top is made of solid Sitka spruce. Mahogany (solid, Indonesian) is also used for the neck, which is topped with a standard 20-fret rosewood fingerboard (snowflake inlays, 1.73" wide bone nut). Other important features include quartersawn scalloped X bracing, vintage open-gear tuners and rosewood bridge with bone saddle.
