Ashton`s acoustic side of the catalog contains many different types of instruments and small-bodied acoustics are just one of the sections included. JJR49S is one of five currently active small-body models. It is available only in natural color with matte finish. JJR49S is a 3/4-sized jumbo acoustic guitar. The scale length is also at 3/4" mark. The body of this flat-top steel-stringer is made of mahogany back and sides, with spruce soundboard on top. The neck is, like the back and sides, made of mahogany and it features a standard 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. JJR49S also feature high-quality Fishman electronics (ISY301 preamp with built-in tuner). Other important features include a fixed rosewood bridge and die-cast tuning machines.
