Orchestra model is a medium-sized guitar in Atkin catalog, located in between Atkin auditorium and small jumbo. This type features 25-2/5" scale and 1.67" wide string nut. It is a model with heavy rotation through Atkin`s main series. In Rosewood series, it is featured as a non-cutaway steel-stringer with completely acoustic construction. Materials used for the construction are East Indian rosewood, spruce, mahogany and ebony. A rich mix for an even richer tone. Rosewood is used for the back and side panels of the body and are topped with a solid spruce sound board. Ebony is used for the body binding, belly-contoured bridge and 20-fret fingerboard. Neck is the only major component made of mahogany and it features standard contour and gloss finish in the back.
