Atkin Guitars Vintage Series Jumbo
Vintage Series Acoustic Guitars by Atkin Guitars
Vintage Series Acoustic Guitars by Atkin Guitars
Jumbo was made by Gibson Guitars in 1930s to counter Martin`s dreadnought, which was rapidly taking over the market. Jumbo became so successful that it became a common body contour for all manufacturers. Even Martin makes them. In Atkin`s catalog jumbos play a very important role, they are the largest models in catalog`s standard series. Vintage Series Jumbo comes with a fully acoustic body made without a cutaway. It`s made of East Indian rosewood back and sides with spruce sound board and bracing. All tone woods on Vintage series models are solid. Ebony is used for both the bridge and fingerboard. Fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets, dot position inlays and 1.67" wide bone nut. Mahogany is used for the neck on this, as well as all other Vintage Series models.
