Ard Ri is Avalon`s quintessential series. It is the most populous one, as well as the one offering the greatest customization possibilities. Among the twelve guitars, nine feature spruce soundboards, while only three have ones made of cedar. Ard Ri 2-310 (like all models with "2-" designation) has a spruce-made sound board (sitka is default, engelmann and European spruce are optional), solid of course. Back and sides are made of amazaque (other name for ovangkol). Binding is rosewood and rosette is abalone. The neck on this Ard Ri is made of mahogany and comes with a variety of available profiles. By default, 2-310 has no electronics, though several pickup/preamp sets can be installed on request. Rosewood bridge and gold-plated tuners complete the specs list. Starting price (without delivery costs) is set at $5,695.
