The Pursuit series is, together with Solo, Stage, Discovery, and others made in China, with design and quality control being done in Breedlove`s headquarters in Bend, Oregon. The currently available lineup has thirteen models - twelve acoustic-electric guitars and one acoustic-electric bass. 2018 Pursuit Dreadnought E is an intermediate-class steel-stringer. It rocks a non-cutaway dreadnought body, the standard 25-1/2" scale, LR Baggs electronics (under-saddle pickup and soundhole controls), and the genuine Breedlove tone. Main construction features include laminated sapele back & sides, solid sapele soundboard, 14th fret dovetail joint, and stock hardware. Breedlove sells this model only in Natural Gloss finish. Other notable features include a solid okume neck, a 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony, fixed ebony bridge, and closed-gear tuners.
