D25/SRe is designed in Bend, Oregon and hand crafted in South Korea in order to shave as much cost as possible. And the result of such production policy are Breedlove guitars with price tags barely over $1,000. D25/SRe has a body made of rosewood back and sides with spruce sound board on the top. This is, along with mahogany and maple, the most common tone wood used for back and sides on steel-stringed acoustic. Rosewood bridge is another appointment most commonly associated with this body wood combos. Rosewood fingerboard on this model features 20 frets with abalone inlays.
