Concert guitar shape is very popular among the acoustic steel-stringed guitars. It is compact in size and packs, depending on the bracing and overall construction, mighty tone projection. Every significant manufacturer has at least a few models made with this shape and Breedlove is no exception. Atlas Studio C250/SM-12 is a concert-shaped twelve-stringer with single cutaway designed body. Tonewoods used for the body include laminated mahogany for back and side panels and spruce for the top. Tortoise binding and single circle rosette complete the top panel. Bridge section of this model sports a modern belly shaped bridge made of rosewood. Dovetail is the most popular neck joint for acoustic guitars and it`s applied on this model, as well. Fingerboard is made of rosewood and equipped with a standard set of 20 frets.
