The Oregon series, named after Breedlove`s home state, relies heavily on locally sourced tonewoods. The focus of the current lineup is on myrtlewood, a wood abundant along Oregon`s coastline. Tone-wise, myrtlewood is a mix of mahogany, maple, and rosewood, offering a balanced, well-rounded tone. Myrtlewood also has a beautiful grain, rich in colorful, figured hues. All Oregon Myrtlewood models, including the Oregon Concert Bourbon E, come with all-solid, all myrtlewood bodies. The Bourbon E rocks a non-cutaway body, 25-1/2" scale, LR Baggs EAS VTC electronics, premium hardware, and elegant styling. It is available only in Bourbon Burst, with gloss finish, black binding, and nickel hardware. Other notable features include a hard rock maple neck, a 20-fret African ebony fingerboard, a fixed ebony bridge, and Breedlove tuners.
